Rending the Veil is searching for experienced magicians for an upcoming video demonstration project. The initial aspect of your involvement, as a magician, is to perform the standard rituals on film, in proper lighting and professional results, demonstrating vibration, Godforms, et al. (Also implied is involvement with the Rending the Veil "Round Table" gang as we seek the best ways to proceed from here, in all upcoming projects.)We also would love to discover that someone has a temple already in place, where we could film. If you are an interested party, please contact me via comment here or via email at email@example.com. This is an unpaid gig, for now. I'm considering ways to monetize it. You'll be in it for glory alone. ;)

My partner and I are looking for housemates; specifically for 2-3 people to share a large house with us. We wish to move in mid-January. We are a stable long-term queer couple who are both pretty introverted, but like to socialize. Thus we are looking for a group living situation. We like our home to be pretty quiet, but we're open to parties and entertaining. I'm an artist and he works in finance. We both love books and read a lot. We have a cat and some rodents, all indoor, as well as turtles who love outdoors. We are willing to take on the lease and risks for the household. We're looking for people who are open-minded, clean, relatively quiet-living, and financially stable. You should like group living but be okay with sharing a bathroom with another person. Small caged pets are okay. Smokers okay as long as they smoke outside. We're cool with college students, occultists and pagans, GLBT people, creative types, gamers, geeks of all stripes, and even completely average normal types who are open-minded enough to be cool with us. We're looking to rent inside the Loop and we expect rent to be between $600-$700 per person. If interested you can email me, reptilegrrl at 00goddess.net
For anyone who doesn't have a credit card, it's amazingly hard for me to find things like wands, pentagrams, and pretty much anything that I can buy with cash. If anyone is interested in selling anything and would accept concealed cash, please let me know!

The Erik (my boyfriend) is watching this B movie on Sci-fi called, Ghouls. And it starts out with Occult Jazz Hands. I kid you not. Gathered around an altar table, in brown robes, doing Jazz Hands around this old lady.Occult Jazz Hands.
Namaste everyone! My partner and I are relocating from sunny Michigan to Houston this July for grad school (yippee!). The downfall is that neither of us has even BEEN to Texas, and we are scrambling to get things in place. One issue we are having problems with locating good landlords/property management companies. We have cats (all pampered, of course) and prefer hardwood to carpet.Any recommendations? Also, West Michigan is the Calvinist centere of the WORLD. What kind of religious atmosphere can we expect in Houston? Any neighborhoods that are particularly pagan/hippie friendly? We're not really hippie in dress, but we're definitely tree-huggers. :)
Hello Everyone,I have started a new community called exploringpathsThis community is for those for whom existing religions do not quite fit and are looking for new paths to explore spirituality. Whether you come from an existing path (Christianity, Paganism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Shinto, Taoism, Judaism, Islam, etc.) or no path at all (atheism or agnosticism), all are welcomed.I am not sure exactly in which direction this community will go, but I hope it will be interesting and thought provoking. To the moderator: if this post is not allowed by the community rules, please feel to delete it and please accept my sincere apologies if this should cause any trouble.Take care,John
I'm leaving LJ. Is anyone interested in taking over this community?
